These terms govern the use of Priorcase — this website and the API behind it — operated by Paletters. Using either means accepting them. Last updated 12 October 2026.

What this is

Priorcase searches the market's past. Given a moment, it returns past moments whose price path resembled it, what the market was at each, and what the price did afterwards. Everything it reports is a record of something that has already happened.

It is not advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, and nothing here is a forecast. The service does not produce probabilities, averages across outcomes, direction scores or signals, and it does not place orders or connect to any venue that does. What you decide after reading it is yours.

Past similarity does not guarantee future outcomes. Two moments can resemble each other closely and be followed by opposite things.

Using the API

An API key identifies you and is yours to keep secret. Anything done with your key is treated as done by you. Tell us at [email protected] if it is exposed and we will replace it.

Do not share a key, resell access to it, or use the service to build a copy of it. Do not call it in a way that degrades it for others. We may apply rate limits, and we may suspend a key that breaks these terms or that is being used in a way that threatens the service.

The market data behind the answers comes from exchanges and public sources under their own terms, which can change what we are permitted to serve. Where that happens we will change what the API returns and say so.

What you may do with an answer

Reading a page here is free and always will be. A person looking at this site is display use, and nothing below restricts it.

A machine reading the same answers is not. The API and the MCP server are non-display use, and what a plan permits is set out on the pricing page: Research is your own work, Production is anything you operate, and both keep the answers inside it.

Showing our answers to anyone else is redistribution, and needs our agreement first. That includes an automated service or an AI agent that answers a third party using them, whether or not we are named, and whether or not they are charged. Signals and indicators you derive from the answers are yours to use inside your own work under the same line: keep them in, or ask us.

These are the lines the exchanges behind our data draw between display, non-display and redistributed use, and we are held to them as well. Write to [email protected] and an arrangement is usually straightforward.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, that the data is complete or free of error, or that it fits any particular purpose. Data arrives from third parties and can be late, revised or missing.

To the extent the law allows, Paletters is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including trading or investment losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes, and ending it

These terms may change. A material change is announced on this page with a new date before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means accepting it.

You may stop at any time. We may end access for a breach of these terms, or on reasonable notice where the service itself is being withdrawn. See the refund policy for what happens to anything already paid.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes belong to the courts of Seoul Eastern District Court. Nothing here removes a right you hold as a consumer under the law where you live.
